I received a sample of Micro-90 and tried it in my Ultrasonic cleaner to clear Sturmey Archer hub parts from 1972. I cleaned them on a 50 minute, 60 Celsius cycle and the results were amazing. I normally scrub before Ultrasonic cleaning but I wanted to try this without scrubbing, and I was impressed!! I really like this product and would recommend it to anyone that has Old,Greasy, hard to clean items. This will get it done!!

We have been using Micro 90 for over 20 years with excellent results. We use it in our metallography lab for cleaning cross section samples before and after each grinding and polishing step, and use it diluted about 20:1. It is not too bad for washing hands either!

Thank you for the positive feedback and longtime use of Micro-90®. We’re happy to hear that Micro-90 is so effective for your metallography lab samples. Please note, however, that while it is non-hazardous, Micro-90 is not intended for hand washing.

I first used Micro-90 for cleaning gelatine from the tubes and flow-cells of a release rate system in the 1980s and found that it was very effective. When a manager insisted on a cheaper rival being used the system fouled up very quickly and we went back to Micro-90. At my present employer, dirty pipettes that wouldn’t come clean with soaking for 48 hours in organic solvent, strong acids and strong alkalis for weeks were ready to rinse with 48 hours. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I have found the products excellent for cleaning membrane filters. As a process developer I use Micro 90-, Micro A07, and ZymitPro as the default cleaners when developing processes for customers. One of the key economic drivers for my customers is membrane life and the IPC products clean membranes back to their starting conditions in most cases. The team at IPC have always been responsive and helpful and the R&D group has solved unique cleaning issues for us on a number of occasions.
I highly recommend IPC and their products.
